Just found out that the movie 'Sahara' is based on a Clive Cussler book. At the beginning of the movie it says "A Dirk Pitt Adventure". It wasn't so bad a movie, perhaps there is hope for some of his books?

I went through a severe Steven King phase. When I ran out of King books to read, I read some Koontz. Good stuff... also, some Clive Barker. If you're willing to give another Clive a chance, I would reccommend Books of Blood, by Clive Barker. That is some good horror fiction; in easy to swallow short stories. :)

Mom, you're a little gunshy now aren't ya? For the record, I would like to state that my mom has only steered me wrong one time.

And, she recommended the best book that I have read in a long time (if ever) in Pillars of the Earth.

Does that take me off the hook? :)

I would like to thank you, Jason, for reading these crappy books so that I dont have to. If it weren't for you, I might have read this terrible book.

That's my pal, saving us all, one book at a time.
